D is for Dog

It's April and that means the A to Z Blogging Challenge!
This year my theme is film terms.

Who doesn't love a movie about a dog? These films can be funny, heartwarming, adventurous, horrifying or tragic. Here are some of my favorites.

Lady and the Tramp (1955)

Old Yeller (1957) - Directed by Robert Stevenson

101 Dalmatians (1961)

White Fang (1991) - Directed by Randal Kleiser

Marley and Me (2008) - Directed by David Frankel

What's your favorite dog movie?

  1. Oh Heavenly Dog (1980). Chevy Chase plays the roll of a private investigator killed while investigating a case. His death is declared "marginal" and he is sent back to earth--as a dog (Benji)-- to solve his own murder.

I also get a kick out of Turner & Hooch (1989).

  2. I remember that movie but have not seen it. That's a great idea for a story.
