Memorable Movie Props
Stranger Than Fiction (2006)
Will Ferrell is a fictional character in a novel who is going to die as soon as the author figures out how to kill him. He realizes his time short, so during his final days, he learns to play the guitar, falls in love with political activist baker, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and eats a freshly baked cookie for the first time. Talk about a bucket list!
What's on your bucket list?
Craziest idea for a theme I have come across so far ... I love it:-)
ReplyDeleteMartine: Pretty crazy, but not for a movie buff like me. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteI thought Stranger Than Fiction was a corker idea but the execution fell short. Still, another fun and unexpected prop choice! You're strumming on all chords with this one!
ReplyDeleteI agree, the idea was great. But I think they pulled it off. Ferrell's character was so endearing that I was rooting for him all the way through. The guitar scenes were my favorite, as well as the eating the cookie scene and the box of flours.
DeleteThat is absolutely my favorite scene in Stranger Than Fiction. That and the scene where he actually picks out the guitar.
ReplyDeleteHappy A through Z posting!

Mine, too. One of my favorite romantic comedies.
DeleteThis is one of my favorite movies. So refreshing. Loved the scene where he was picking out his guitar.
ReplyDeleteMary: It's one of my faves as well. The guitar scenes are awesome. I love this story...it inspires me to go after my dreams.
DeleteOh now I have to go watch this film again-- if only to see him eating a cookie for the first time!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite films. Will Ferrell's characters are often so obnoxious, but in this one he is sweet and adorable. I've seen it many times. I love the idea of going after your dreams.
